They tell the stories of how the landscape of life and behavior and expectations have changed since the first immigrants stepped onto our East Coast shores and then migrated west. The State Library, housed in Nebraska's Capitol, holds not only the history of lawmaking and judicial decisions in Nebraska, but of the entire country, back to the colonies of Massachusetts and Virginia.
