Kari M. Rumbaugh is the Deputy Interstate Compact Administrator for the Nebraska Supreme Court’s Office of Probation Administration.

Nebraska is a signatory state to the Interstate Commission for Adult Offender Supervision (ICAOS) and to the National Association of Juvenile Compact Administrators (AJCA). The Probation Interstate Compact Office coordinates the effective screening and tracking of Probation offenders’ movements across state lines to ensure compliance with the ICAOS and AJCA regulatory bodies. The office interprets rules and regulations on behalf of probation officers and initiates problem resolution in acceptance/denial/supervision disputes with other states and oversees the safe and timely return of out-of-state runaways.
