Crystal Hestekind, District 7 Probation Supervisor in Norfolk, has been selected as Chief Probation Officer for Judicial District 7. Counties in District 7 include Antelope, Cuming, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Stanton, and Wayne. This appointment becomes effective May 20, 2024.

Hestekind has a strong vision for the district that will carry it successfully into the future. While change is never easy, Crystal, a long-standing District 7 leadership team member, is sure to make the transition seamless.

She replaces Kathryn Liebers who most recently served as Chief Probation Officer for the district.
